Diagnostic & Operative Hysteroscopy
Hysteroscopy uses a thin, lighted camera to examine the inside of the uterus. Mr Arambage co-authored the European guidelines on management of distension media in operative hysteroscopy, reflecting his expertise in this field.
Both diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy are available, enabling assessment and treatment of intrauterine pathology in a single visit where possible. This is particularly valuable for patients with abnormal uterine bleeding, suspected polyps or fibroids, and for fertility investigations.
